Well, I am certain that the order set for Monday is going to disconnect my service, and there is nothing any human can do to stop it. I think I have worked here long enough to know how this works.
The id10t at the Verizon store, when going to port my Qwest cell over to them, did not really bother to verify information, so the number he put down to port over was my land service, and the moment he said that I knew I was doomed. So, come Monday morning, not only am I going to have no dial tone, my service is going to get hit in the CO, since I have DSL. The jumper will get pulled and my service will test an open in. Yay to the telecommunication company! So it is not just a Qwest thing, since Qwest was not at fault and really cannot do much other than deactivate the current active port to Verizon.
:sigh:
