how can i use your smileys in email or lj?

In order to use any smiles somewhere else, you have to take their location and refer to them to them. Example

I know this because I did a right click on the icon in question, then selected properties and that showed the address. I am not sure if this works for everything, however, as there could be scripts in the board software that prevent file leeching (someone linking directly to a file from an exterior source. So if you do that and it fails, then it is a safe guard built into the board.

well, i'd rather not send someone http address. this is what i want: to have your sub-window of smileys open and to click on one when i'm in lj or email and have the smiley appear.

No, when the smiley window pops up, it "targets" my forums as where you are.

Example: You have LJ and my forum open. You click on the smiley box, and start typing in LJ, then click on the smiley face. The window will look for the text box your cursor is in on my forum. If you were close the forum, then I believe clicking on the box would do nothing.

well if you are going to do it in lj then you do open carrot img src="link" close carrot. (but don't try that on the boards!)
