CUBS WIN!! HAHAHA!! 8 - 3!!

The dugout is the place to go for those who have a sport they would like to talk about or a team they would like to "promote" or speak of.

CUBS WIN!! HAHAHA!! 8 - 3!!

I feel like Harry, only alive and sober at the moment, with no current condition to want to tell everyone what everything spelled backwards is. Yesterday's game was EXCELLENT, SMITHERS!! ONCE AGAIN the Cub's score in the FIRST inning, this time, THANKS TO A GRAND SLAM!! WOW!!

ESPN wrote:MIAMI -- Historians tell us that not much has happened since the last time the Cubs played in a World Series.

Except for color TV, cable TV, computers, the internet, space flight, Elvis, the Beatles, Springsteen, Walkmen, cell phones, lasers, CDs, DVDs, MP3s, VCRs, ATMs, microwaves, tanning salons, Frisbees, credit cards, debit cards, Viagra, AstroTurf, retractable domes, sliders, splitters and, of course, J-Lo.

ESPN wrote:After his walk, it turned into One Of Those Innings for Willis, whose troubles throwing strikes in the second half have taken some of the luster off Dontrelle-mania. He then proceeded to walk Sammy Sosa and Moises Alou on four pitches apiece. Which filled up the bases for another Cub who wasn't around in April, May or June -- third baseman Aramis Ramirez.

Seven pitches later, Willis served up a thigh-high fastball. Ramirez launched it in the general direction of Universal Studios. And when it stayed inside the foul pole, the Cubs led, 4-zip.

ESPN wrote:Naturally, Willis hadn't given up a grand slam all year. And Ramirez hadn't hit one all year. But these Cubs seem to feel compelled to score about four runs in the first inning every day of October.

Catch the whole ESPN talk

The Cub's... well... yeah they have blown it... just realize in the unlikely event they lose today... PRIOR AND WOOD have to be faced next!! (and for those who need a calculator, Wood carries the largest strikeout in the national league with Prior close behind!!)[/quote]
I will have something here... at some point...

I'm confused. If they're doing so well, why have they blown it?
Everyone should be a non-conformist.

I think I meant a game they played, not the playoffs.

Of course, this is the SECOND thing I re-read that I wrote some one and am not 100% sure what I was talking about.
